The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) spokesperson has announced that all travelers heading to Saudi Arabia must receive a polio vaccination before departure.
As per the new guidelines:
Passengers must get vaccinated at least four weeks before departure.
The vaccination dose should not be older than six months.
This requirement applies to Umrah pilgrims, tourist visa holders, and residency visa holders.
Passengers with a transit stay of less than 12 hours are exempt.
Additionally, travelers must ensure their polio vaccination certificate carries an official stamp from a government or private hospital. The spokesperson urged all passengers to carry their certificates to the airport to prevent any travel disruptions.
