A police operation against robbers in the border areas of Sindh and Punjab has resulted in the deaths of six robbers and the recovery of six hostages within six days. The operation was launched after 15 passengers were abducted from a bus in Ghotki last week.
According to the Director of Police Operations, Muhammad Imran, three more robbers were killed in the police firing, while several others were seriously injured. The police targeted the robbers’ boat with a drone strike, and reports indicate that the robbers on board were killed.
