Police are investigating a shooting Saturday night that left a man dead in northwest Fort Worth.
Around 10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Northwest Loraine Street, police said.
Officers found a man who had been shot inside a vehicle, police said. The man, whose name police did not share, was pronounced dead at the location.
In March 2022, a man was killed and three others were injured in a shooting in the same area. Police did not answer questions about whether they believed the two incidents were related.
Investigators are speaking with “all witnesses and the person responsible” for shooting the man Saturday, police said.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon, and it is unclear what charges, if any, police are considering.
