HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Your Monday and Tuesday will be a lot like Sunday with mild morning temps and warm afternoon temps. High temperatures will easily warm in the upper 80s to low 90s for most locations.
Our next front is beginning to look a little weaker than earlier thought so a significant cool down and significant rain chances will have to hold off for another 6-8 days.
What are the chances we get some rain this week?
Thursday’s moisture return and front is looking weaker so we’ve lowered rain chances this week to the 20% range Wednesday thru Saturday. We still expect a stronger front to blow in late next weekend and that should give us some decent rain.
What’s happening in the tropics?
Hurricane Julia made landfall in Nicaragua over the weekend. It is expected to weaken as it moves west into the Pacific. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
