BARC’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for all animals in Houston, particularly those in the care of the City of Houston’s BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions. Donations to BARC support animals housed at the shelter by funding medical expenses, kennel maintenance, and other essential supplies. Additionally, BARC works to raise awareness about homeless and vulnerable animals in the community.
