Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, a prominent leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Balochistan, has announced significant participation from the province in the party’s upcoming mass gathering. He stated that people from all over Balochistan will join the central event, titled ‘Badal Do Nizam’ (Change the System).
Speaking at a press conference in Quetta, he highlighted the importance of this event, noting that JI holds this central gathering every ten years. This year, the event is scheduled to take place from November 21 to 23 at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore.
Commenting on the country’s political situation, he said that the nation is “occupied by a few families” and emphasized that “we want justice and the rule of law.”
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman added that this national platform will be a crucial opportunity for him to “present Balochistan’s case before the people of the country,” aiming to bring the province’s issues and grievances to a wider audience.
