HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Most of the moisture will linger along the coast Tuesday. We could see isolated storms pop farther inland but chances will be limited. If we do see storms pop, we could see some gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning.
We are expecting more sunshine though which should allow our temperatures to climb back up into the low 90s.
What’s the outlook for the shortened work and school week?
A small chance for rain remains every day with highs near 90. Wednesday looks like the best chance with a 40% rain chance. There will be an upper-level low pushing back toward us Thursday and Friday, but it will have limited moisture to work with. For now, we have the rain chance those two days held at 30%.
What’s happening in the tropics?
Hurricane Danielle and Tropical Storm Earl are spinning in the Atlantic but they look to stay over water. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
