Parker Posey is garnering rave reviews for her portrayal of Victoria Ratliff in the latest season of “The White Lotus.” This role was a long time coming for the actress. During an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” Posey described playing the character, known for her Southern drawl, as “so much fun.” “I was so excited,” she said about receiving the scripts for the drama before filming. “I read all eight episodes in one sitting, and it was such a ride.” Meyers noted that series creator Mike White had met Posey years ago and expressed his admiration for her work, but asked if those words were “just words” to her. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, write something for me. Like, I would love to work for you,'” Posey responded. “And this happened like a few times over the last 20 years.” Posey shared that she had also expressed her fandom for White.
