The Prime Minister also apprised her of progress on institutional reforms and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fiscal discipline, taxation, and sustainable development. Kristalina Georgieva appreciated Pakistan’s efforts towards economic reforms and emphasized the importance of maintaining the pace of reforms to ensure long-term economic resilience.
Other officials present during the meeting included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Ahamad Cheema, Mohammad Ehsan Ullah Ehsan, and Attaullah Tarrar. The Prime Minister announced that a special committee has been formed by the provincial assembly to investigate the recent Radio Pakistan incident.
