Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology Chairman, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, has responded to the recent taunt by the Malam Military Alliance regarding the country’s defense capabilities. During a press conference in Jhang, Maulana Ashrafi emphasized that the Malam Military Alliance should listen to the people, as Allah has naturally blessed Pakistan with its defense. He stated that the successful operation against the Indian military will be a significant milestone in history, which will be remembered for centuries. Maulana Ashrafi pointed out that the world has always witnessed missiles being fired at Muslim countries, but for the first time, Pakistan’s missiles have hit India, which is a significant victory. However, he emphasized that Pakistan needs internal stability at the moment. He also stated that 70% of the terrorist attacks involve Afghan involvement, and Pakistan’s military and nation can defeat terrorism together. Maulana Ashrafi further added that if Pakistan can defeat a six times larger country, it can certainly defeat terrorism. He also welcomed the Prime Minister’s invitation to the PTI for dialogue, which he believed should be accepted.
In another development, the Interior Minister of Sindh, Athar Khawaja, announced that the National Cybercrime Agency has been established, and there is zero tolerance for terrorist content. He also stated that he has spoken to the Chief Justice regarding the case of Rizwan Bhatti, who was involved in a violent incident.
Meanwhile, the PPP Parliamentarians’ Secretary-General, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, stated that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the party will play a long innings with the people, which is a message for the PTI. The Lahore flight operation has been severely affected due to weather conditions, resulting in six flights being diverted to Islamabad Airport. An SSP said that the six people, including a family of three, were arrested in a joint operation by the police and the Rangers.
Justice Jamal Mandoonkhal said that if such a heinous crime were committed, it would be dealt with severely, and no one should be spared.
