Pakistan’s Governor Salim Haidar has embarked on a diplomatic mission to Scotland, where he has been addressing the Pakistani community’s leaders in Glasgow. Pakistan’s Consul General in Scotland, Rana Thamer Javed, has stated that the Pakistani community in Scotland is delivering outstanding services in every field of life. Governor Salim Haidar has listened to the issues of the Pakistani community and assured that the government is well aware of the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis. He has stated that the government is taking special measures to deal with land grabbing, housing society frauds, and the protection of citizens.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor emphasized that Pakistan’s journey towards democracy is ongoing and will continue to do so. He highlighted that Pakistan’s honor and prestige have increased significantly since the country’s victory in the war against India. He also mentioned that Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the Islamic world and that its missiles can reach any part of the world. The Governor emphasized that the Pakistani armed forces are the people’s forces and that it is essential to fully support them for the stability of Pakistan.
The Governor’s visit to Scotland was welcomed by the Consul General Rana Thamer Javed and prominent political and social leaders, including Chaudhry Aslam and Chaudhry Nadeem. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Karachi South, Javed Nabi Khoso, announced the completion of the search operation at the 8th day of the Gul Plaza fire.
