ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar, has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers Council meeting.
During his visit, Senator Dar will officially open the new consulate building in Jeddah and address key regional issues, including the concerns faced by the Muslim Ummah.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government has transferred a lady police constable to a Women’s Police Station on charges of custodial torture.
In other news, Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the stability and security of Somalia. The country’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister has also condemned Israel’s actions in Somalia, terming it a serious offense.
According to reports, the Pakistan Rangers have seized a large quantity of goods worth millions of rupees in a joint operation with the customs department.
Additionally, Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s military actions in Somalia, with Senator Ishaq Dar calling it a grave offense.
In a separate incident, a tragic accident occurred in Hyderabad, where a convoy of vehicles was attacked, leaving several people dead and injured. The police have taken into custody over 30 suspects and are investigating the incident.

The rescue teams have shifted the dead and injured to the hospital, where some of the injured are in critical condition. According to reports, five people have lost their lives in the tragic accident, and one police officer was injured in the clashes with the protesters.
