Pakistan’s Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, has stated that the world acknowledges the country’s achievements. The President of FPCCI, Atif Ikram Sheikh, said that policy rates should be brought down to a single digit. He added that the demand is to bring the policy rate to 7%. Ahsan Iqbal said that the country is facing frequent visits to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) due to trade deficits. The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has praised Pakistan’s economic growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
