Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Es-haq Dar, has departed for Beijing to participate in the seventh Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue, which will be co-chaired by him and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi on January 4. As per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Es-haq Dar is the first foreign dignitary to visit China in 2026.
During the dialogue, all aspects of bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and China will be reviewed, and efforts will be made to further enhance the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. In a separate incident in Karachi, four bodies were recovered from a manhole in the Maida Colony area, and the main suspect, Musarrat Hussain, was apprehended by the police.
In a separate development, Peoples Party leader Ali Musa Gilani claimed that the US had seized the country’s largest oil reserves and that American oil companies would now extract oil from Venezuela.
