A high-level technical delegation from Pakistan has arrived in Kabul. However, diplomatic sources have clarified that the visit is not for political or military negotiations, as it was scheduled long before the recent tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan emerged.
The delegation is purely technical, composed of officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior and relevant technical teams.
Diplomatic sources emphasized that this visit has no connection to the recent Pak-Afghan clashes, any temporary ceasefire efforts, or negotiations. No meetings are scheduled between the delegation and Afghan Taliban officials.
The primary purpose of the visit is focused on internal operations within the Pakistani embassy in Kabul. The delegation’s main task is to review and implement reforms in the embassy’s visa processing system.
