Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora has sent out a categorical message to the people of Indian Punjab that they should know Pakistan will never attack them.
In an exclusive conversation with Samaa TV’s senior anchorperson Nadeem Malik at Liberty Chowk, Lahore, the minister rejected the Indian media’s claims regarding Pakistani attacks on Amritsar and other cities, and said, “We cannot even think that we will attack Indian Punjab, where our Sikh brothers live and those who have been saying since day one that they are with Pakistan because of Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur Sahib.”
Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said, “We have not carried out any attack; this is negative propaganda, which India has been doing for a long time and has now reached its peak in the last three days.”
Addressing the Indian media, he said, “The Indian media should wake up.”
He said, “The Pakistani media is also reporting on the current situation, but it is neither sensationalizing nor peddling lies or drama.”

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar earlier revealed that India attempted to provoke the Sikh community in Indian Punjab against Pakistan following a failed missile attack that saw three of its own missiles fall within Amritsar.
Speaking at a press briefing, Dar said India launched four missiles late last night — three of which landed in Amritsar, the capital of Indian Punjab. The fourth missile entered Pakistani airspace but was intercepted and destroyed, with its debris falling in the Dinga area of Gujrat.
Dar claimed that instead of accepting responsibility, the Indian government blamed Pakistan for the incident. He accused New Delhi of trying to manipulate the situation to incite anti-Pakistan sentiment among Sikhs, aiming to divert attention from internal unrest and growing dissent in Indian Punjab.
