Islamabad, Pakistan – The Pakistani military paid its respects to Major Adil Zaman, who was martyred during an operation against terrorism. A funeral prayer was held for the brave officer, and he will be laid to rest in his hometown of DI Khan with full military honors.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that Major Zaman was killed in action while leading from the front during a mission to counter terrorism. The officer was part of a team that was committed to eliminating terrorism from the country.
Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, attended the funeral prayer and offered condolences to Major Zaman’s family. He praised the officer’s bravery and said that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs will never be forgotten.
“The martyrs of Pakistan’s armed forces are the country’s pride, and their sacrifices will always be remembered,” Field Marshal Munir said.
The funeral prayer was attended by senior military officers, including the Commander of the Peshawar Corps, as well as civil officials. The officer’s family was also present to pay their last respects.
