Islamabad, December 2025 – In a recent report released by the Power Division, it has been revealed that the circulating debt in the country is expected to decrease by 148 billion rupees in December 2025 compared to November 2025. According to the report, the circulating debt stood at 1837 billion rupees in November 2025, however, it is anticipated to drop to 1689 billion rupees in December 2025.
This development comes as a result of the government’s efforts to reduce the country’s debt burden. The report further stated that the circulating debt increased by 224 billion rupees from July to November 2025, while it increased by 75 billion rupees from July to December 2025.
