The Mohammad Rizwan-led Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the first ODI at McLean Park in Napier tomorrow (Saturday).
According to details, the team management has held consultations to finalize the playing XI for the series opener against the Black Caps.
Pakistan head coach Aaqib Javed expressed hope that the Pakistan fast bowlers will showcase their bowling prowess.
Javed said, “Hopefully, the players will replicate the performances they delivered against Australia and South Africa when they face New Zealand.”
It is important to note that the Green Shirts, led by Salman Ali Agha, suffered a 4-1 defeat against New Zealand in the T20I series.
