On Monday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the 15-member Pakistan squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket ODI World Cup 2025. The tournament, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, is scheduled to run from September 30 to November 2. Pakistan will play all of its matches in Sri Lanka. Before the World Cup, the squad will also play a three-match ODI series against South Africa.
Several players are set to make their World Cup debuts, including Natalia Parvez, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shams, Sadia Iqbal, Shawal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah. The selectors made two changes from the team that competed in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers, leaving out Gul Feroza and Najiha Alvi.
Pakistan Squad: Fatima Sana (captain), Muniba Ali Siddiqui, Alia Riaz, Diana Baig, Iman Fatima, Nashra Sindhu, Natalia Parvez, Omaima Sohail, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shams, Sadia Iqbal, Shawal Zulfiqar, Sidra Amin, Sidra Nawaz, Syeda Aroob Shah.
Reserves: Gul Feroza, Najiha Alvi, Tuba Hassan, Umme Hani, Waheeda Akhtar.
