A three-day practice match between Pakistan Shaheens and West Indies ended in a draw at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
The match saw brilliant moments from both sides, but unfortunately, two Pakistani players suffered injuries during the game.
The West Indies set a challenging target of 312 runs after declaring their second innings at 177 for five. In response, Pakistan Shaheens scored 128 for the loss of two wickets, bringing the match to a draw.
Earlier, the West Indies posted a commanding 346 runs in their first innings, and Pakistan declared their innings at 212 runs, with Muhammad Hurraira leading the charge with an impressive 80 runs.
The encounter was marred by injuries to two Pakistani batsmen. Mohammad Suleman, a key player for the Shaheens, was struck on the foot by a delivery from West Indies pacer Warrican and had to retire hurt after facing just two balls.
Muhammad Hurraira, who is part of the national squad for the upcoming Test series against the West Indies, also sustained an injury when a fierce bouncer struck him on the face, halting play for an extended period while he received medical attention.
Additionally, wicketkeeper Ghazi Ghori was unable to take the field due to a finger injury, and in his absence, Rohail Nazir took over wicketkeeping duties until the lunch break.
Earlier, Ali Zaryab was ruled out of the match, and Saad Khan, who sustained an injury while fielding, briefly returned to the field but continued to experience difficulties.
Pakistan will face the West Indies in the two-match Test series starting January 17.
