Karachi, Pakistan – A dramatic scene unfolded at a police station in Karachi when a suspect being transferred to the Criminal Record Office (CRO) escaped along with the investigating officer, ASI Imran Ramzan.
According to police officials, the suspect, Abdul Rahman, was being taken to the CRO from the Aram Bagh police station two days ago when he managed to escape. The investigating officer, ASI Imran Ramzan, also fled the scene after the incident.
The FIR, registered against both Abdul Rahman and ASI Imran Ramzan, states that the suspect escaped due to the negligence of the investigating officer. Following the incident, Lady Constable Ghulam Fatima was suspended, and the case was registered at the Women Police Station.
The police station in Karachi’s Old City area has been a hub of activity, with several development projects being initiated in the area. However, the progress has been hindered by the closure of two major roads, one leading from Peoples Chorangi to Mazar-e-Quaid and the other from Khudadad Colony.

Meanwhile, a significant amount of cash was recovered from a suspect arrested by the PECHS police, totaling $160,000. The spokesperson for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) made the announcement.
In a related development, Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif directed the Health Minister, Health Secretary, and PMDC administration to stay alert and provide maximum medical assistance to the injured.
The spokesperson for the Rangers stated that a massive operation was conducted in collaboration with the Custom Enforcement, resulting in the recovery of goods worth millions of rupees.
Pakistan strongly condemned Israel’s actions in Somalia, with Senator Ismail Dar expressing his concerns. A similar condemnation was made by the Hungarian Foreign Minister, who stated that European leaders’ aggressive behavior is putting Hungary in the greatest danger.
In the aftermath of a tragic bus accident in Sindh, the police confirmed that five people lost their lives, while more than 30 passengers were taken into custody. A police officer was injured during the protests, and the injured were shifted to the hospital, where some are in a critical condition.
In a separate incident, a rescue team reported that they have been deliberately stranded in a desolate area, with no assistance in sight.
