The Federal Minister for Law, Azam Nazir Tarar, clarified that the government does not issue any ordinance without the approval of the President. He stated that the government will not implement any ordinance that has not been signed by the President.
Meanwhile, Justice Yousuf Ali Saed has requested the government to provide a written response to the issue. The Pakistan Peoples Party has also announced a protest outside the Lahore High Court against the passage of the ordinance.
