Three Women Abducted from Pakistani Village, Police Launch Investigation

In a shocking incident, three women from the village of Jan Muhammad Bhutta in Sehwan, Pakistan were abducted by unknown individuals. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Zafar Siddiqui revealed that 20 suspects have been booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act in connection with the kidnapping case, with two being taken into custody. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the perpetrators allegedly entered the women’s home and took them away.
SSP Zafar Siddiqui disclosed that a dispute between two rival families had been brewing since a young man from one family had gotten married to a girl from the other community. The SSP stated that operations were underway to recover the abducted women.
In a related development, four robbers were killed in a shootout with police in Rawalpindi’s Sadar area. The police surgeon, Dr. Samiyya Siddiqui, revealed that the bodies showed signs of torture, including a young man’s severed head, face, and neck. The court has summoned witnesses in the case until January 10.
