The Pakistan Navy has demonstrated its high level of professionalism on the world stage by seizing a massive cache of narcotics in the North Arabian Sea, valued at nearly one billion dollars.
The successful operation, which confiscated drugs worth over 972 million US dollars, has drawn praise from international military partners. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) paid tribute to the Pakistan Navy in a statement, detailing the operation’s success.
According to CENTCOM, the Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Yarmook, operating as part of the Saudi-led Combined Task Force 150, intercepted two suspicious vessels within a 48-hour period.
The haul from the two boats included 2 tons of crystal meth, 350 kilograms of ice, and 50 kilograms of cocaine. Pakistan’s Naval Chief, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, praised the PNS Yarmook crew for their dedication, while the Royal Saudi Navy’s commander lauded the operation as a perfect example of global cooperation.
