Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully wrapped up its post-Hajj operation, facilitating the return of over 41,500 pilgrims to Pakistan via 147 flights.
A spokesperson for PIA stated that the month-long operation commenced on June 10 and concluded on July 10. The final post-Hajj flight, originating from Madinah, touched down in Islamabad on Thursday night at 8:30 PM.
PIA utilized its Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 aircraft for the Hajj flights. The national carrier maintained an impressive over 90 percent on-time departure performance throughout the entire operation.
The return Hajj flights departed from various cities across Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta, Multan, and Peshawar.
