Punjab’s Minister of Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, said that the government of Pakistan is rendering valuable services, especially in the areas of education and health, including the education and training of special children. The Minister of Education of Punjab stated that the Chief Minister of Punjab is a precious gift from Allah to the people, who, by putting aside personal comfort, are working day and night to provide facilities to the people. He made this statement during a meeting with a British delegation led by Dr. Ansar Hayat in Lahore.
The Provincial Minister of Education assured the delegation that Pakistan does not make any compromise in the fields of education and health, but it is a clear government policy to provide standardized educational and medical facilities to the people. Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that today, Pakistan is on the path of progress and unique and revolutionary plans are being started in the education sector in Punjab. He invited overseas Pakistanis and foreign investors to invest in the education sector in Punjab, saying, “Come and get the land, establish educational institutions, and start educational projects in the name of your parents or grandparents, and the Government of Punjab will provide complete cooperation.”
The Provincial Minister of Education appreciated the services of Dr. Ansar Hayat and Muhammad Sajid, a resident of Majhaanwala, and Manchester, UK, saying that they not only provided land for the school but also played a significant role in the construction of the building, which will be upgraded to a higher secondary school. This step will provide opportunities for girls in the area to receive standardized education and gain a respectable position in society.
He stated that Dr. Ansar Hayat and Muhammad Sajid are valuable assets of the nation, who, despite residing abroad, are giving practical evidence of their love for their country. He also praised the services of Additional Secretary Saif Inayat Jappa, saying that he has rendered valuable services for the welfare of the people in every city and town of Punjab and has shown particular interest in the up-gradation of Majhaanwala School.
Rana Sikandar Hayat further stated that the establishment of a medical college in Mandi Bahauddin will be a milestone in the development of the region, and its far-reaching positive results will be seen. On this occasion, Muhammad Sajid, a renowned businessman from Manchester, UK, appreciated the services of Dr. Ansar Hayat and Waseem Malik, saying that such sincere and dynamic personalities are guiding Pakistan on the path of progress.
He stated that Dr. Ansar Hayat’s visit to Pakistan has clearly shown that he is actively working on the government and non-government levels to promote business links between Pakistan and the UK and to create harmony in the community. Muhammad Sajid stated that Dr. Ansar Hayat has united the Pakistani community in the UK and has made Pakistan’s name shine, which has also helped in thwarting the plans of anti-Pakistan elements. He termed Rana Sikandar Hayat and Saif Inayat Jappa as the real messiahs of the people, saying that they are the actual servants of the Chief Minister of Punjab, who are always working for the welfare of the people.
Meanwhile, a fire incident occurred in Khanpur Mehr, in which a number of people were killed or injured. The bodies of the deceased and the injured were shifted to the hospital.
