Pakistan’s Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain has stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party is not a political party but a proxy of Israel and India. During a media conversation in Sheikhupura, Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the strategy of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made Pakistan a significant player in the world, and the government has stabilized the economy and made all economic indicators positive. He also stated that if Pakistan fails to get out of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this year, it will have to return with stringent conditions.
The federal minister further stated that PTI is not registered as a political party with the Election Commission, and its ideology is fascist, which is a poison for democratic traditions. He added that PTI’s leader, Imran Khan, is enjoying the development of Punjab while traveling through the streets of Lahore.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Interior, Sindh, Atta Tarar, stated that he has spoken to the Chief Justice regarding the case of Rizwan Khan, who was allegedly tortured. The founder of PTI, Imran Khan, and his wife Bushra Bibi have demanded that the Supreme Court declare the Toshakhana case decision null and void.
The Provincial Minister of Punjab, Syed Atta Ullah Shah Bukhari, stated that the province has officially notified the upcoming Basant 2026 festival. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General, Syed Naveed Qamar, said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari vowed to play a long innings with the public, which is a challenge for PTI.
