Pakistan has strongly condemned Indian Foreign Minister’s statement, saying that India is once again trying to divert attention from its role in terrorism and regional instability. In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said that India’s role in promoting terrorism in the region is evident, while Indian allegations are irresponsible and baseless.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson rejected Indian Foreign Minister’s statement, saying that the case of Kulbhushan Yadav is a clear example of state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan. Andrabi said that India has serious allegations of supporting terrorist networks, target killings, and sabotage activities abroad.
He also mentioned that efforts were made to save the culprits in the Muhammad Akhlaq lynching case, which has led to increased fear and insecurity among Muslims in India. Andrabi stated that the Hindu nationalist ideology promotes extremism and violence, and India’s illegal and oppressive military occupation of Kashmir continues.
The Spokesperson also said that India’s unilateral violation of the Indus Water Treaty will harm regional stability, and Pakistan will take all necessary steps to protect its legitimate rights under the treaty. Furthermore, Andrabi mentioned that the governance crisis in the country’s four provinces is a major concern.
In a separate development, the Sindh police arrested a suspect named Musarrat Hussain in connection with the murder of four people found in a manhole in Karachi’s Mauj Kachhi area.
Meanwhile, PPP leader Ali Musa Gilani has claimed that the US has seized control of the world’s largest oil reserves and will now extract oil from Venezuela through American oil companies.
In another development, a suspect was arrested in connection with the murder of Javed Butt, who was shot dead by motorcyclists on Canal Road last year. The police have made progress in the case of four bodies found in a manhole in Karachi’s Mauj Kachhi area, with the victims identified as Anila and her three children.
The Sindh Home Minister, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, has ordered the installation of covers on all manholes to prevent any inconvenience to citizens.
