Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts have led to a significant breakthrough in Peshawar, as security forces have successfully thwarted a major terrorist plot. According to the Central Police Office (CPO), the operation took place at Nake Kale, adjacent to Shah Kas Road, where terrorists had planned to launch an attack on the police.
As a result of the operation, three terrorists were killed, and three Kalashnikovs were recovered from their possession. IG Police, IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Additional IG CTSP commended the bravery of the CTSP team for their exceptional work in dismantling the terrorist plot.
IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfiqar Hamid, praised the CTSP team, saying they are the embodiment of determination and courage. He also reiterated the police’s commitment to eliminating terrorists and ensuring the safety and security of the public.
