In a spectacular display of cultural harmony and creativity, a Pakistan–China Fashion Show held on the Great Wall of China has become the centerpiece of celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
Jointly organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing and the China International Cultural Communication Center, the grand event showcased vibrant designs reflecting a blend of traditional elegance and modern aesthetics.
The show was curated by renowned fashion expert Adnan Ansari, featuring top Pakistani designers including Maheen Khan, Moazzam Abbasi, Ayesha Tariq, Rizwanullah, and Zain Hashmi, who presented collections symbolizing Pakistan’s rich heritage and contemporary flair.
Pakistan-based jewelry designer Aqeel Chaudhry introduced his exclusive jewelry line, while celebrated Chinese designer Liang Siyun presented her creations, highlighting the spirit of collaboration between the two fashion industries.
Speaking at the event, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, said,
“Hosting this fashion show at the Great Wall is not just a symbolic gesture but a milestone in Pakistan–China cultural and economic cooperation.”
He added that the event reflects how both nations continue to strengthen their partnership through art, creativity, and people-to-people exchanges.
The show drew a diverse audience, including Chinese officials, media representatives, diplomats, and business leaders, who praised the event as a new chapter in cultural diplomacy between the two countries.
