The Saudi Minister of Industry praised Pakistan’s participation in the Future Minerals Forum and emphasized that Pakistan’s young workforce is a valuable asset. Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik stated that the Geological Survey of Pakistan is working with the Saudi Geological Survey and highlighted the immense mineral potential of the Tethyan Belt, which is a small part of the region’s vast mineral resources.
Minister Malik also emphasized the importance of joint programs for fertilizer production and medical equipment development. Meanwhile, several high-profile figures, including President Zardari, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and PTI founder Imran Khan, are set to have their number plates auctioned off.
