Visa violations, legal infractions, blacklisting, overstaying, and human trafficking were among the reasons for the deportation of Pakistanis from various countries.
Karachi (January 22, 2025): Over 200 Pakistanis have been deported from countries like Saudi Arabia, the United States, China, Turkey, Zimbabwe, and Senegal during the past week.
These deportations stem from various issues, including visa violations, legal problems, and human trafficking.
According to immigration sources, 220 Pakistanis were sent back from these countries, with 12 individuals arrested upon arrival in Karachi.
Between January 19 and 21, within 48 hours, several deportations occurred.
From Saudi Arabia, 47 individuals were deported due to visa-related issues, blacklisting, overstaying, and working without a sponsor.
A significant deportation occurred from the UAE, where 103 Pakistanis were released from jail and deported using emergency travel documents.
In Senegal, two victims of human trafficking were deported back to Pakistan.
Additionally, the United States deported two individuals who were traveling on emergency documents, and Zimbabwean authorities sent three passengers back to Pakistan.
Upon arrival in Karachi, 16 deportees, including one with a suspicious identity, were arrested.
