HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — You’ll really love Friday’s weather with morning temperatures dipping in the upper 50s, highs in the low to middle 80s, and low humidity.
And we’ll have sunny skies to boot.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cloud in the sky, and the UV index will be very high between the hours of 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
How long will this fall fresh air stick around?
We should see morning temperatures drop into the mid 50s through Sunday! Afternoon highs will rise into the mid 80s. At least the humidity will be low enough to open the windows when the temperatures are cooler during the first half of the day. This pattern of cooler mornings and warm afternoons will stick around all the way through the first few days of October.
What’s happening in the tropics?
We are still closely monitoring Hurricane Ian. It’s no threat to Texas, but it will be a dangerous storm for residents of the Carolinas. It is predicted to be a category one when it makes landfall near Charleston Friday afternoon. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
