The number of registered voters in Pakistan has risen to 132.67 million from 132.2 million, marking an increase of 0.47 million, according to the latest data by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Nationwide, 71.28 million (53.72%) of the voters are male, while 61.39 million (46.28%) are female. In Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), there are 1.17 million registered voters, including 0.61 million males (52.37%) and 0.56 million females (47.63%).
Balochistan has a total of 5.54 million voters, with 3.10 million males (56.01%) and 2.43 million females (43.99%). Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s total voter count is 22.59 million, including 12.28 million males (54.38%) and 10.30 million females (45.62%).
Punjab, hosting the largest voter base, has 75.55 million voters, with 40.24 million males (53.27%) and 35.30 million females (46.73%). Sindh’s total voters are 27.82 million, including 15.03 million males (54.03%) and 12.79 million females (45.97%).
District-Wise Data for Major Cities
- Karachi has a total of 7.23 million voters, comprising 3.87 million males (53.58%) and 3.36 million females (46.42%).
- Lahore has 7.17 million voters, including 3.77 million males (52.65%) and 3.39 million females (47.35%).
- Faisalabad has a total of 5.48 million voters, with 2.93 million males (53.44%) and 2.55 million females (46.56%).
- Rawalpindi has 3.41 million voters, including 1.75 million males (51.39%) and 1.65 million females (48.61%).
These six major cities collectively account for approximately 26.33 million voters, with 14.02 million males (53.24%) and 12.31 million females (46.76%).
