Actresses Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are back on set for ‘Practical Magic 2,’ reprising their roles as witch sisters Gillian and Sally Owens from the 1998 classic.
A Strong Friendship: In an interview with People Magazine, Kidman shared her thoughts on their dynamic, calling it “insane.” “I can tease her, and she teases me,” she said, adding that they are both currently living “very close to each other” in London.
Reuniting After Decades: Kidman mentioned that she and Bullock couldn’t believe they were back together after 27 years. “We’re both like, ‘What?’ But we were just right back into it,” she explained. “I adore her and she is so funny and so lovable. And we’re just having the best time together.”
Praise for the Team: The actress also praised the team behind the sequel, including director Susanne Bier. She highlighted the supportive role of Warner Bros. in making the film happen. “We have this wonderful female director, Susanne Bier. Warner Bros. is behind the film,” she said. Kidman also mentioned working with Joey King, calling her “just lovely.” Kidman concluded by saying, “It’s a group of amazing, amazing women and some great men who are creating the next phase, the next stage of the witches’ life.” ‘Practical Magic 2’ is set to premiere on September 18, 2026.
