Apple’s next iPhone SE is expected to see a price increase, potentially ranging between $499 and $549. This price hike is attributed to significant hardware upgrades, including Apple’s first in-house 5G baseband chip, replacing Qualcomm modems used in previous models.
iPhone SE 4 Features
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to adopt design elements from the iPhone 14, including a 6.1-inch OLED display and Face ID. It will be powered by the A18 chipset, aligning with the processor expected in the upcoming iPhone 16 series.
Camera and Memory
The iPhone SE 4 will feature a 48-megapixel single rear camera and may offer memory configurations with 6GB and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM options. The device will likely include a USB Type-C charging port, in line with Apple’s shift away from the Lightning connector.
Price and Availability
Despite the price increase, Apple plans to keep the iPhone SE as its entry-level offering, with the price in the Korean market potentially exceeding 800,000 won. While Apple has not officially confirmed the development of the iPhone SE 4, industry analysts believe it may launch in early 2025.
