New Delhi sent its ambassador to Dhaka to defuse the tension

During the visit, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met Bangladesh’s interim leader, Muhammad Yunus, to discuss improving bilateral relations and resolving outstanding issues. Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive and constructive relationship.
