The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has reported that 23 people have been killed and nine injured due to flash floods. According to details released on Sunday, the NDMA has issued a report on the losses caused by the recent catastrophic floods and rains.
The NDMA stated that since January 26, over 850 people have died across the country due to floods and rains. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted more rainfall in the next 24 hours. Additionally, concerned institutions have been advised to remain on high alert. The public has been asked to take all necessary precautionary measures to prevent any further damage from the severe weather.
