Nawaz Sharif, President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has called upon the United Nations to ensure the enforcement of its long-standing resolutions pertaining to Kashmir and Palestine. He underscored the critical need for global justice and peace in these regions plagued by conflict.
Speaking to the media in London after a routine medical check-up at a local hospital, the former prime minister stated, “It is the UN’s responsibility to uphold its resolutions and secure the rights of the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine.”
Nawaz Sharif also expressed contentment with his current health status, confirming his well-being following the medical examination.
Highlighting Pakistan’s recent diplomatic strides, Nawaz remarked, “Pakistan’s global prestige has seen a significant increase.”
He further credited the diligent efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the party’s triumph in the recent by-election held in Sialkot.
“Their hard work and effective governance have garnered the trust and backing of the populace, which was clearly demonstrated in the recent public mandate for the PML-N,” Nawaz affirmed.
