National hero Arshad Nadeem arrived in Lahore today from South Korea, receiving a triumphant welcome after securing a gold medal in the javelin throw event at the Asian Athletics Championships.
He was met with an enthusiastic reception at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Arshad was greeted by his father, Muhammad Ashraf, alongside family members, friends, and a considerable crowd of jubilant supporters.
Speaking to the media, his father expressed immense pride in his son’s accomplishment, stating, “My son has made us proud before and he has done so once again today.”
He further added, “I am thankful to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for ensuring Arshad received the best possible facilities.”
He emphasized that Arshad Nadeem’s unwavering dedication and consistent hard work have brought honor to the entire nation.
Arshad was accompanied on his return journey by fellow national athletes Yasir Sultan and Shajar Abbas.
