The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has upgraded its core platform to deliver faster, safer digital services nationwide, incorporating advanced security features and reducing system downtime, according to a press release issued on Monday.
The bank stated that this strategic enhancement underscores NBP’s ongoing commitment to leveraging modern innovations to streamline operations and provide superior customer experiences.

This modern infrastructure enables NBP to offer faster, smarter, and more secure banking services to millions of customers both domestically and internationally, as per the announcement.
It noted that alongside performance improvements, the system upgrade included state-of-the-art security features that will provide stronger data protection and reduce potential vulnerabilities for its customers.
“Customers will also benefit from more intuitive mobile and digital banking experiences, powered by technology-driven insights and personalised financial tools.”
The statement further added that the platform has been designed with scalability in mind, supporting future growth, new branch integrations, and expansion across digital touchpoints.
