In Houston, Texas, more women have stepped forward to report receiving botched plastic surgery from a man who claimed to be a certified doctor.
Alexander Padilla faces two additional counts of practicing medicine without a license, adding to the charges filed against him in October, as reported by Eyewitness reporter Jessica Willey.
Among Padilla’s alleged victims is Jackeline Guitterez, who claims to have experienced chronic pain following procedures performed by Padilla. Two other women named as complainants on Padilla’s charging documents also spoke to, detailing severe complications post-surgery.
Guitterez visited Padilla at the Houston Aesthetic Center seeking affordable treatment. She underwent abdominoplasty and later received liposuction and buttocks injections, both procedures leaving her in significant pain. Guitterez recalled waking up mid-procedure during the second surgery, demanding that Padilla stop.
Since the surgeries, Guitterez’s quality of life has been profoundly affected, with persistent pain hindering daily activities and even intimacy with her husband.
Padilla’s arrest followed an undercover operation by HPD’s Major Offenders Division, prompting several women to come forward with similar experiences.
Guitterez expressed a desire for accountability, calling for the closure of the clinic and for Padilla to face the consequences of his actions. The Houston Aesthetic Center has not responded to requests for comment.
Padilla is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, facing four felony charges related to his alleged unlicensed medical procedures.
