Karachi:
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari at Bilawal House, Karachi, where the two leaders discussed the overall political landscape and matters related to law and order.
According to sources, Naqvi conveyed an important message from the federal government to Bilawal Bhutto during the meeting.
The discussion also focused on easing tensions between the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) — the two key allies in the coalition government.
Sources revealed that Naqvi assured Bilawal that the federal government was keen to resolve the misunderstandings between the two parties and was playing a reconciliatory role to strengthen political cooperation.
The meeting was said to have taken place in a positive and cordial atmosphere, with both leaders agreeing on the need to promote political stability and mutual understanding.
They emphasized that in the face of growing economic and security challenges, unity among political stakeholders was crucial for the country’s progress.
