Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced the resumption of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, which will continue from May 17 following a temporary halt due to recent tensions with India.
In a statement shared on social media, Naqvi expressed enthusiasm over the tournament’s return, stating: “PSL X picks up from where it left off! Six teams, zero fear. Let the aura take over as we unite and celebrate the spirit of cricket.”
The league will recommence with eight action-packed matches, culminating in the grand final scheduled for May 25.
This restart follows the Pakistan-India ceasefire, which has contributed to stabilizing the regional situation and allowing sporting activities to resume. The league’s return is anticipated to energize cricket fans across the country, with preparations underway to ensure smooth operations and stringent security at all venues.
All six franchises will be back in action as the tournament resumes, and the PCB chairman extended his best wishes to the teams, saying: “Best of luck to all the teams!”
The PSL was briefly suspended last week after India launched a brutal attack on Pakistan, which tragically resulted in 51 martyrdoms—40 civilians and 11 security personnel.
