Pakistan batting coach Mohammad Yousuf acknowledged on Saturday the performance of the New Zealand batters in the first ODI.
Expressing his thoughts, Yousuf said: “The runs conceded by two of the bowlers proved costly. The management will definitely keep an eye on the bowling attack ahead of the second ODI.”
“There was a moment when things were in our control during the match,” Yousuf said.
“Things would have been different if we had restricted New Zealand to 270 runs,” Yousuf maintained.
He said, “The match was becoming easy for us. But we lost three wickets in two overs.”
“The momentum of the match changed after Babar Azam’s dismissal,” he maintained.
