Pakistan’s white-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan stated on Friday that the injured opener Saim Ayub will be missed in the Champions Trophy.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore ahead of the tri-nation series set to take place from February 8, he made it clear that the playing XI would be picked for the matches based on the conditions.

Rizwan added, “There are part-time spinners in the squad, which is why specialist spinners were not considered.”
He further stated, “It is not necessary to change the squad.”
