Napier, March 29, 2025 – New Zealand’s young batting sensation, Mohammad Abbas, etched his name in history with the fastest half-century against Pakistan in his debut ODI. The 21-year-old achieved his fifty in a mere 24 balls during the inaugural match of the three-game ODI series in Napier.
Abbas displayed an aggressive batting style, striking three sixes and three fours to reach his maiden ODI half-century. Batting at number 6, he ultimately scored 52 runs off 26 balls before being dismissed.
