The Ministry of Finance has announced a reduction in petroleum product prices for the next fortnight, starting from February 16 (Sunday).
According to details, after the issuance of an official notification, petrol prices have been reduced by one rupee per litre, bringing the new price to Rs. 256.13 per litre.
High-speed diesel prices saw a significant decrease of four rupees per litre, with the new price set at Rs. 263.95 per litre.
Kerosene oil experienced a reduction of three rupees and twenty paise per litre, bringing its new price to Rs. 171.65 per litre.
Additionally, light diesel oil prices were slashed by five rupees and twenty-five paise per litre, setting the new price at Rs. 155.81 per litre.
The new prices came into effect at midnight and will remain applicable for the next 15 days, as per the official notification.
