Meghan Markle recently offered a glimpse into her experiences while studying at Northwestern University.
The Duchess shared details during her interview on the “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast with Heather Hasson, the founder of FIGS, a leading medical apparel company.
The conversation took place on the podcast, prompting the royal to reminisce about her university days.
“I was a theater major, and part of the program was that you couldn’t just do the acting,” she began.
At Northwestern, “you had to do soup-to-nuts,” she explained.
“Every part of what a production would entail, which I actually think is incredible training for when you’re running a team because you appreciate what the sound person does and what the lighting person does,” she added, expressing her admiration for the program.
Furthermore, “Wardrobe department and sewing were part of it too, so I am comfortable with a sewing machine,” she clarified.
This discussion arose after the two women talked about “getting her hands dirty” with her own brand.
“It can get messy and the best founders are not afraid to get their hands dirty,” Meghan had stated before commending her alma mater.
